In Memory Of K-9 Officer Buddy
Officer BuddyR.E.D. has created the, R.E.D. K-9 Buddy Fund, to purchase bullet and stab proof jackets and other safety equipment for K-9 Police Officers. May the tragic loss of Buddy bring something good to the K-9 Officers who selflessly serve to protect our brave officers and our community. Thank you, Buddy, for the service you gave to mankind and for helping save the life of another fine Bremerton Police Officer. You will be missed and your sacrifice shall not be forgotten. Rest in peace Brave Boy.

Protecting Those, That Protect Us

HELP K-9 Officers in need of Protection

K-9 Officer BearBrave K-9 Officer Bear, serves with his human partner/handler, Deputy Sheriff Foltz, for the, Chelan County Sheriff's Department. Bear is a 3 year old Bloodhound. He is a Tracking, Search and Patrol dog. He is a member of the, Foltz family, when he is off duty. He 's an incredible working dog and helps the Sheriff's department, fight the on going drug problem, that plagues that area. He is critical in building searches. He is not trained with bite training, making him more vulnerable, if he locates a extremely violent offender. He locates the offender and alerts his handler by barking. We feel, Brave Bear, would be served well, by a bullet proof and stab proof vest. Bear, also is in desperate need of a new Reflective ID duty harness. His, is inherited from a previous dog and is not in good, safe condition. So far luck has been with this Officer. Please, will you help us protect this K-9 officer, from injury or death. Will you help us provide the police that serve with him, the peace of mind that come with this equipment? For Bear, there is no question he will continue to protect us.

The Chelan Sheriff's Department will be adding additional K-9 dog soon. They will be needing equipment for that new K-9 officer, too.

Funds needed for Safety Equipment $750.00
