Protecting Those, That Protect Us
Meet some of the K-9 Officers the Buddy Fund has helped.

Sherriff Mark Apeland and MissyJefferson County Sheriff's, K-9 Officer Missy and her partner, Deputy Mark Apeland
Missy was given to the Sheriff's department by a owner who could no longer keep her. She is a purebred Rottweiler. Missy is a detection dog. Her duty's are assisting her handler in locating illegal substances at crime scenes and on patrol. Missy is a gentle, loving, inquisitive, intelligent, officer. When off duty, she lives as a family member with her partner. She has received Reflective Duty ID Harness. I personally delivered her harness and was gratefully given a Missy kiss in return. Thank you Missy for being an fine officer and a wonderful example of your breeds finest qualities.

K-9 Officer GanSuquamish Tribal Police Department's, K-9 Officer Gan and his human partner, Officer Girardin
Gan is a K-9 Tracking and Patrol Officer serving the Suquamish area. Gan is a German Shepherd. He is a intelligent and dedicated K-9 Officer with personality plus. He has friendly and affectionate manner with everyone he meets, when not on a call. He exhibits the good training that brings out the judgement and fine qualities the German Shepherd Dog was bred for. When off duty, Gan, spends his time as a family member with his human partner. Gan, has received a bullet and stab proof vest and reflective ID duty harness, from the K-9 Buddy Fund.

K-9 Officer HenryEast Wenatchee Police Department's, Officer Henry and his human partner, Officer Patterson
Henry, is a German Shepherd Dog, of impressive intelligence and good humor. Henry's partner, Officer Patterson, was a animal control officer before joining the Wenatchee police departments K-9 unit. Henry is a triple duty K-9 officer. He is trained in narcotics detection, tracking and patrol dog. Henry is excellent at building searches. He shares his off duty life with his best friend and partner Officer Patterson. Henry has received a bullet and stab proof vest from the Buddy fund.
